The Access College Foundation will help you understand how to make college more accessible and less expensive by coordinating the college admissions & financial assistance application processes with you. We have excelled at educating parents of college-bound high school students and their children regarding preparing for the complex college admissions and funding process for more than five years. We will help you identify any and all grants, endowments, endorsements, scholarships, work study, internships, and loans which may be available from each college. We also assist in compiling and completing the numerous and complicated forms and procedures which are required by each individual college. You will be confident that everything that needs to be accomplished will be done accurately and on time. We will also present to you all appropriate student and family positioning strategies necessary to ameliorate the impact of the burdensome college costs. You will have the peace of mind necessary to focus and be educated regarding the most efficient way for your family to take on the daunting task of assuring that your child receives the best education possible from the college that will best serve them in preparing for their career.
We will help you understand the rules of College Funding!
Do not assume that if you own a home and make over $100,000 per year that you will not be eligible for any award. Both “need” and “merit” based award is available! Understand the difference between “assessable” and “non-assessable” assets. Appropriate asset titling and allocation is critical. Don't assume all schools award equally. Remember, both quantity and quality are important!
We will help you through the process with:
Monthly Newsletters for Student & Parent Assistance in completing the FAFSA form Assistance in completing the Profile form Confirming the accuracy of SAR and make adjustments when needed Assistance with all Award Letter negotiations Creating a plan to pay college costs and maintain your retirement goals
